Importing names

20. Verify your configuration and license information on the Server License Summary screen and
21. Click Start on the Apply User Settings screen.
22. Click Next on the Apply User Settings screen.
23. Select the Start Client check box, if necessary, on the Start Server screen and click Finish.
24. Enter your user name and password.
25. Click Login.
26. Click OK on the Login Banner.
Importing names
During migration Nicknames are converted to Names and are exported to a .properties file format
(located in the <Install_Home>\migration\data folder). Once you have logged into DCFM, you can
import this .properties file.
If the name length exceeds the limitations detailed in the following table, you must edit the name
(in the Properties file) before import. Names that exceed these limits will not be imported.
NOTE
If the Nickname was originally longer than 128 characters and was truncated to 128 characters in
the .properties file, it cannot be imported into DCFM. You must either shorten the Nickname in EFCM
before migration or edit the .properties file directly to shorten the Nickname before attempting to
import it.

User Settings migration may take up to 30 minutes.
After all of the DCFM services are started, the Log In dialog box displays.
The defaults are Administrator and password, respectively. If you migrated from a previous
release, your username and password do not change.
