LAN1/LAN2 Enable/Disable

Change the setting of jumper JPL1 to
enable or disable the LAN1 port and
JPL2 to enable or disable the LAN2
port on the serverboard. See the table
on the right for jumper settings. The
default setting is enabled.

ME Recovery

Close jumper JP5 to enter ME Firm-
ware Recovery mode, which will limit
system support to essential functions.
There will be no power use restrictions.
In single operational mode, online
upgrades will be available via the
Recovery mode. See the table on the
right for jumper settings.

Watch Dog

JWD enables the Watch Dog function,
a system monitor that takes action
when a software application freezes
the system. Jumping pins 1-2 will have
WD reboot the system if a program
freezes. Jumping pins 2-3 will gener-
ate a non-maskable interrupt for the
program that has frozen. See the table
on the right for jumper settings. Watch
Dog must also be enabled in BIOS.

I C Bus to PCI/PCI-Exp. Slots
Jumpers JI 2 C1 and JI
to connect the System Management
Bus (I C) to the PCI and PCI-E slots.

The default setting is Open (Disabled.)
Both jumpers must be set to the same
setting. See the table on the right for
jumper settings.

disable the Watch Dog Timer.
