Select the IP interface you want to define as an IP RIP interface from the
Interface/Name Address drop-down list.
The Interface/Name Address drop-down list includes existing IP interfaces. If you
have not created the interface you want to configure for RIP, create one as discussed in
"Creating IP Interfaces" on page
7.
Set the RIP parameters described in the following table:

Specify whether the interface can receive RIP updates.
Select Enabled if you want to receive RIP updates on the
interface. Otherwise, select Disabled.
This option does affect RIP updates sent from trusted
gateways. If this option is disabled, the SSR will not
receive any RIP updates including those sent from trusted
gateways. If this option is enabled and trusted gateways
have been set up, the SSR can accept updates only from
those trusted gateways.
