You can copy an object's configuration settings by copying and pasting that object or by
dragging it to another object. Separate discussions on each method follow.
As the previous table states, you can copy a port or module to a port list (such as those
belonging to VLANs and static ARP entries). For an example of copying a port or module
from one port list to another, see
To copy an object's configuration settings by copying and pasting an object:
1.
Select the object that you want to copy.
For details on which objects you can copy, see

Click the Copy button

If necessary, double-click objects in the configuration tree until you locate the object to
which you want to apply the configuration settings of the copied object.

Select the object to which you want to apply the configuration settings.

Click the Paste button
You can drag objects to copy their configuration settings. When using this method to copy
ACLs or QoS profiles, you should remember that you drag ACLs to interfaces, but you
drag interfaces to QoS profiles.
Apply To
Applies the security settings of an IP
ACL to an IP interface or an IPX, IPX
RIP, or IPX SAP ACL to an IPX
interface.
Adds a VLAN to an IP or IPX interface.
Adds an IP or IPX interface to the QoS
profile's list of interfaces. The settings
of the QoS profile will then apply to the
interface.
