Logging In / Logging Out
To use the machine after receiving user authentication, perform a login. If you perform a
login, you can use the following functions.
•
Personal settings
•
Printing and transmitting documents in the user box
•
TTI (using user registered information)
•
Scan path notification
•
Security print
•
User access/cost accounting
•
Journal report (with the user name printing in the sender field)
*1 These functions cannot be used when the user authentication method is set to
[Network].

When the "Guest Account Setting" is effective at Machine Policy Setting on the Message
Board, press <Reset> to use the machine as a guest.

If the ready screen is not displayed, press <Reset> to display the ready screen, and then press
<Login>.

Select the user ID, and press [Enter].

If the user ID entry screen is displayed, press [Input User] to select the user or enter the
user ID, and press [Enter].

To set user authentication or the machine policy, press [Input User] to enter the user ID.
