After the warranty period: If you require support after your warranty has expired, you can
receive support for a fee through the same telephone numbers. The fee is charged on a per
incident basis. Alternatively, you can contact your local HP dealer who will be able to advise
you and arrange for service.

nearest HP office for further information.
Arranging a Service Call for the HP SureStore
AutoBackup Appliance
The HP SureStore AutoBackup has a one-year, on-site, next-day response warranty.
To arrange for this service, call the Customer Support Center for your area. When you call, make
sure that you have the following information available:
The product name and serial number (see label on the base of the appliance)
Date of purchase
A description of the product fault
A contact name for details of the failure
A contact telephone number
The full address of where the product is located
Certain component parts of the HP SureStore AutoBackup appliance are considered to be "Field
Replacement Units" (FRU). The "on-site" HP representative will be able to change an FRU
component part if found to be faulty, and give general technical assistance as to the "re-boot"
process and general system running.
No replacement FRUs will be provided unless the broken unit is made available. This includes
disks.
Returning Your Optional Tape Drive for Service
The optional HP SureStore Tape Drive comes with a 24-hour Express Exchange warranty (not
available in all countries).
Before returning a HP SureStore Tape Drive, call the Customer Support Center for your area.
When you call, inform the customer care centre that the tape drive is connected to an HP
SureStore AutoBackup appliance and that TapeTools is not available. Make sure that you also
have the following information available:
The product name and serial number (see label on the base of the appliance)
Date of purchase
A description of the product fault
