green and begin to boot.
If this is not the case, do you see one of the following symptoms?
The lightbar is green. The LCD is lit but blank, and the appliance continually
beeps.
The lightbar is flashing Orange. There is an exclamation mark within a
diamond shown on the LCD.
The lightbar is not illuminated. The LCD is unlit.
The lightbar is solid amber and the LCD is unlit.

Boot Up Sequence

The internal operations that the appliance performs from power on, before it is in
normal operational mode.
The square on the left hand side of the LCD indicates the progress of the boot up
sequence. This "window" is filled by four squares, starting in the bottom right corner
of the window, and working their way round in a clockwise fashion.
1. The first square is solid, with an eggtimer icon next to the window. This is the
BIOS self-test stage. The appliance beeps.
2. The second square is solid, with the eggtimer icon sill shown. This is the OS
boot stage.
3. The third square is solid, and the hard disk icon is shown.
4. The fourth square is solid, and both the hard disk and network icon are shown.
If the machine halts for more than five minutes before reaching stage four,
there may be an issue.
If it does not, at what stage does the problem occur and what symptoms are there?
Problem with the first stage.
Problem with the second stage.
Problem with the third stage.
Triangle above hard disk icon doesn't blink.
