Persistent Fabrics

The Persist Fabric Topology menu option is available through the Fabrics menu
on the menu bar, the Persist Fabric Topology button on the tool bar, the
right-click fabric pop-up menu in the Fabric Tree, and the right-click view pop-up
menu in the Topology view area.
Click this option to take a "snapshot" of the current switches, directors, and ISL
connections in the fabric. Choosing this option displays the Persist Fabric dialog
box where you must enter a name for the "persisted" fabric. This name then
displays in place of the fabric's WWN in the Fabric Tree panel and at the top of
the tab's view area.

Click the Layout Icons, Show View Port, Zoom In, Zoom Out, and Fit
Topology Into View buttons on the right side of the tool bar at the top of the
HAFM window. These options manipulate the fabric in the view area and are
also available under the View menu on the menu bar.
Use the horizontal and vertical scroll bars on the edges of the view area.
Use view port which provides a magnified view of the entire fabric where you
can adjust your view of the fabric in the tab's view area. Access view port by
clicking the View Port button on the tool bar or by choosing Fabrics > Show
View Port. Click inside the view port and move the mouse in any direction to
adjust what you see in the tab's view area.
Use options from the View menu on the menu bar.
— Choose the In and Out options from the Zoom menu to increase and
decrease the size of fabric elements. Return to the original view by
choosing the Default option.
— Choose the Fit In View option to display the entire fabric in the view
area. Note that for larger fabrics, text and icons may be difficult to see.
Choose Default from the Zoom menu to return to the original view or use
the Out option to selectively reduce the view.
— Choose the Spring option from the Layout Icons menu to shorten the
length of the ISLs in the view area and "spring" in the product icons
closer together. Click the Circular option to display the fabric in the
more spread out, circular layout.
