Add the tape cartridges to the library's modules using the I/E station commands from the operator panel
or web client.

If the host application inventories the location of each tape cartridge in the library, open the host
application and reinventory in order to sync its logical inventory with the physical inventory of the library.
Replacing a 9U Expansion Module
These instructions explain how to remove and replace a 9U expansion module. You may need to replace
the 9U expansion module if its chassis is severely damaged.
The 5U library firmware supports the addition of one 9U expansion module to a

Preparing to Remove the 9U Expansion Module
Required tools:

Phillips #2 screwdriver, for removing and replacing the top cover plate
•
T10 TORX screwdriver, for removing and replacing the bottom cover plate

Power off the library.

Disconnect all power cords, network data cables, and module-to-module cables from each module you
will be removing.
You should label all cables before you remove them so you can later

reconnect them to their proper locations.
