You can create the following types of jobs:
Import Media
Erase Media
Media Content
Identify Media
Click the Alerts menu item to view a list of unhandled Data Protector Express alerts. If there are more
alerts that aren't displayed,the More... menu item is displayed below the list. Click More... or the Open
Alerts Window menu item to view all alerts.
(In the Settings window, you can set the maximum number of alerts that you see in the list. See Maximum
number of menu items for Jobs, Alerts, or Logs submenus on page 262.)
Click the Clear Evaluation Alerts menu item to remove all alerts having to do with the use of an
evaluation license.
Select a particular alert to get the details about it:
Create a job to read the media and create catalog entries for each
object on the media. You must run this job before running a restore
job if and only if objects are not in the catalog.
Create a job to remove object instances from the catalog.
Create a job to display the contents of any media as the contents are
defined in the Data Protector Express catalog. The job does not read
the media or add information about it to the catalog.
Create a job to identify the media currently loaded in a device.
