The General page shows information and object attributes stored in the Data Protector Express catalog
for the current object.
The data on this page is taken from the Data Protector Express catalog. For files, directories and volumes,
this data is regularly updated. Each time Data Protector Express opens a directory or volume, it updates it
catalog with any new information about these files and directories.
From this property page you can rename the object, change the icon associated with it, add a description,
tooltip, or status help message and enable or disable auditing. Instructions to update general information
about an object appear below.
Shows the name of the current object. To change the name, select it and type in a new name. An
object name can be up to 256 characters long.
Use this field to enter a description of the object. This description appears in under the name
of the object when you use the Tiles view.
