When media is imported into a Data Protector Express catalog, the user is prompted to enter the
passphrase. If a hint was supplied when encryption was enabled, it will also be displayed.
Data Protector Express checks the passphrase entered, if it is correct, imports the media and stores the
passphrase in its catalog. The user can then use the media without needing to enter the passphrase again.

Disaster Recovery

This is enabled by the Data Protector Express Bare Metal Disaster Recovery option. Disaster
Recovery information that
If the user has created bootable media as a separate step after running a full backup, the bootable CD
or DVD is not encrypted. The media used for the full backup is encrypted.
If the user has a device that supports One-Button Disaster Recovery, DR media boot image and
information is written in plain text to the beginning of the media. Additional items selected for
backup are encrypted on the DR formatted media.
