To delete media, select the media you wish to delete and then select Delete... from the Edit menu or the
shortcut (right-click) menu. Alternatively, you can click Delete on the Command task pane.
At any time, you can identify media or display the contents of any media in the catalog.
To create an Identify Media job
1. Select Media from the Wizards view.
2. Select the Identify Media wizard.
3. Follow the instructions to select the media to be identified and to schedule the job.
4. If you select Run now, the job will start as soon as you click Finish.
Use the Run Repeatedly schedule type to identify media in a library that changes media frequently
throughout the day. This will speed up scheduled jobs and allow Data Protector Express to have current
information about the content of media in each slot or device.
To create a Media Contents job
1. Select Media from the Wizards view.
2. Select the Media Contents wizard.
3. Follow the instructions to select the media for which you want to view the contents.
All of the objects in the current Data Protector Express management domain are displayed on the Catalog
view. (Like other views, you will only be able to see those objects to which you have permissions.)
