    Installing the Cisco IP Conference Station 7936 Before you install your Cisco IP Conference Station, you must first assess your network configuration (such as the use of DHCP or static addressing). Refer to the appropriate topics in this chapter to understand how to install and configure the IP Conference Station.

    Choose Phone from the Device Type drop-down list box, and click Next. The Add a New Phone page displays. Choose the Cisco 7936 phone type and click Next. (Once you select a phone type, Step 3 you cannot modify it.) The Phone Configuration page displays.
