The Command-Line Editing Keys table in JUNOSe System Basics Configuration
Guide, Chapter 2, Command-Line Interface fails to include the following key
combinations:
Ctrl+q—Resumes a Telnet or console session; use if the Telnet or console
session appears frozen or unresponsive
Ctrl+s—Suspends a Telnet or console session
Esc+f—Moves the cursor forward one word
In JUNOSe System Basics Configuration Guide, Chapter 4, Configuring SNMP, the
Monitoring Interface Tables section contains a topic whose heading is incorrect.
Although the title of that section is show snmp group, the information described
in it relates to the show snmp interfaces command.
The correct heading for that section is show snmp interfaces. The field
descriptions and usage guidelines for the show snmp group command are
available in a separate section under the Viewing SNMP Status main section of
the same chapter.
JUNOSe System Basics Configuration Guide, Chapter 7, Managing High
Availability, fails to mention that during a stateful SRP switchover, the BFD
transmit interval is set to 1000 ms with a detection multiplier of 3. These
values result in a liveness detection interval of 3000 ms. This longer interval
helps prevent a BFD timeout during the switchover. BFD negotiates the interval
with the remote peer before applying the temporary change. The BFD timers
revert back to the configured values after 15 minutes (the maximum duration
for graceful restart completion).
In JUNOSe System Basics Configuration Guide, Chapter 8, Configuring a Unified
In-Service Software Upgrade, the DHCP Relay Server row in the Application
Support for Unified In-Service Software Upgrades table is incorrectly marked as
unsupported for the unified ISSU operation. DHCP relay has supported unified
ISSU since JUNOSe Release 9.2.0.
The DHCP Affected Behaviors section in JUNOSe System Basics Configuration
Guide, Chapter 8, Configuring a Unified In-Service Software Upgrade, incorrectly
contains the DHCP Relay and DHCP Relay Proxy Prevent Unified ISSU section,
which indicates that the DHCP relay and DHCP relay proxy applications do not
support unified ISSU.
Both the DHCP relay and relay proxy applications began supporting unified
ISSU in JUNOSe Release 9.2.0. Therefore, you need not unconfigure these
applications from all virtual routers to perform a unified ISSU operation for
JUNOSe Release 9.2.0 and higher-numbered releases. DHCP relay proxy
continues processing of DHCP release requests during the unified ISSU to
maintain server-client synchronization.
The DHCP Affected Behaviors section in JUNOSe System Basics Configuration
Guide, Chapter 8, Configuring a Unified In-Service Software Upgrade, incorrectly
contains the DHCP External Server Prevents Unified ISSU Operation section,
which indicates that the DHCP external server application does not support
unified ISSU.
