Novell ZENworks Linux Management includes a Message Logger component that tracks and
logs significant system events. Administrators can use this information to monitor events related to
devices, policies, and bundles. Specifically, event monitoring allows you to do the following:
Monitor problems associated with devices, policies, and bundles
Track successful events
Log events and run reports
View a summary of problems on a hot list
