Using BulkRipper and the MDL200
Overview
Once the MDL200 is communicating with both the laptop PC and the target MMS server (see
previous section), it is ready to be used for transferring media to the server. The main steps in the
process are:
1. Loading Discs Into the MDL200: physically loading the discs into the MDL200 carousel.
2. Transferring the Disc Images: Loading the contents of the discs to the target MMS server.
Depending on the settings specified (in the Settings dialog), you may need to manually identify
any discs that were not automatically identified. See the Loading Media to the Target MMS
Server section on page 11 for details.
3. Unloading the Discs: Physically removing the discs from the MDL200. Refer to the Removing
Discs From The MDL200 section on page 16 for details.
Each of these steps are described in the following sub-sections.
If BulkRipper is not already running on the laptop PC, launch the software before
beginning.
Loading Discs Into the MDL200
Discs are physically loaded into the MDL200 through the vertical slot on the front panel of the unit
