Overview The MAX-MDL200 Multi-Disc Loader System (FIG. 1) allows you to bulk-load up to 200 discs (DVD or CD) to a MAX (HT or MMS) server. The MAX-MDL200 Multi Disc Loader System includes the MAX-MDLD Multi-Disc Loader and a Windows the MAX MDL200 application, pre-configured for plug and play operation. -

MAX-MDL200 Multi-Disc Loader System To use the MAX-MDLD, you’ll connect the MAX-MDLD to the PC and to the target MAX server as described in this document. The MAX MDL200 software (already loaded and configured on the PC) manages the process of loading discs into the MAX-MDLD and transferring the media to a target MAX server. -

MAX-MDL200 Multi-Disc Loader, you must acquire another hard drive from Dell to load the OS and other software. If AMX tech support finds any other software loaded on this system they will require you to return the system to AMX HQ to be re-imaged at your expense. -

MAX-MDL200 Multi-Disc Loader System Online Database MAX systems (firmware version 4.34 or higher) rely on an online media database for disc recognition. The online database provides all media information (such as disc title, track/chapter information, artist information, etc.). In order to identify discs (CDs and/or DVDs) as they are added to the MAX Server, the MAX Server must have permanent access to the internet. -

MAX-MDLD - DVD Region Code Settings Overview The MAX-MDLD Multi-Disc Loader has two internal DVD-ROMs (“Drive 1” and “Drive 2”), each of which may require that you specify a DVD region different than the default setting of Region 1. You can change the region code setting on each of the MAX-MDLD’s DVD-ROM drives up to five times (per drive), and no more. -
