of the dialog to open the nested list of components.
5. Select Fixups from the items under the profile to display the "Fixups
in this profile" and "All available fixups" lists at the right of the dialog.
Select a fixup from the "All available fixups" column and click the left-
facing arrow just below the "All available fixups" column to move the
fixup to the column on the left, as shown in Figure 41. You can read
information about the selected fixup in either list.
Tip
Rather than scrolling through dozens of fixups, type a term in the search
field to filter the options.
6. Continue adding fixups as required.
7. Click Save to store your new profile and continue working in the dia-
log; click OK to save your new profile and close the dialog.

Which to Choose?
How do you know whether
you want to edit a process,
duplicate it, or start a new
one? And do you want a new
profile? Or a new check or
fixup?
Start with a duplicate
of an existing profile if
you want to make some
changes to specific com-
ponents (such as image
resolutions) but need the
overall profile.
Start with a new profile
if you want to combine
some specialty items that
aren't likely to be in an
existing profile, such as
flattening comments and
form fields, and cropping
the pages (the example
used here).
Start from an existing
check or fixup if you want
to change parameters,
and the check or fixup
allows modification.
To change parameters for
a locked check or fixup,
start from a duplicate. The
item is named (Copy 1)
by default, so you won't
overwrite the original.
