Chapter 6. Solving problems
Action
Reset the correct time
and date.
Restore the original
hardware, accept the new
configuration in the IBM
Setup Utility program, or
set the Diskette Drive A:
option correctly.
Accept the new
configuration in the IBM
Setup Utility program or
correct the hardware
problem.
Replace the failing hard
disk drive. If the problem
persists, call for service.
Correct resource
shortage by removing,
disabling, or rearranging
devices.
Remove the device and
correct the checksum.
Press F1 and attempt to
cycle through the startup
sequence. If you do not
press F1, automatically
attempt to cycle through
the startup sequence
every 5 seconds.
Accept the new
configuration in the IBM
Setup Utility program, or
correct the hardware
problem.
