The Blindhem Stitch is used to finish the edge of a project, like the
bottom of a pair of pants, so that the stitch does tlot show. Use the
Blindhem Stitch when sewing on non-stretch fabrics, and the Stretch
Blindhem for stretch fabrics .
1. Both the upper (spool) and lower {bobbin) threads should be the
satne color as the fabric.
2. Fold back the fabric to the desired location of the hem as shown in
fig. A. Then, fold the edge of the fabric as in fig. B. Leave a 6 mm
(1/4") overlap at the edge .
3 .. Set the pattern selection dial to either the Bl,indhem Stitch or Stretch
Bllndhem and set the stitch length. For the 60, 70 and 75, set the
stitch width dial between "3" and "5" .
4. Sew on the fold as in fig. C.
5. When the fabric is unfolded You will hav:e a blind hem. (See fig .
D.)

• The Stretch Blindhem is useful for stretch fabrics.

paraissent. Utiliser l'ourlet invisible de lingerie pour tout tissu non
extensible et le l'ourlet invisible €1astique pour les tissus eXtensibles.

2. Plier le tissu

Ia fig. A) puis replier le borden faisant chevaucher de 6 mm (voir
fig. B.)
3. Mettre le s91ecteur de modele de point sur "ourlet invisible de
lingerie'' ou sur "ourlet invisible 61astique" et rBgler Ia longueur du
point. Pour les mod€!es 60, 70 et 75,

4. Coudre sur le rep!i (comme le montre Ia fig. C.).
5. Lorsque le tissU est d€pli8, on obtient un ourlet invisible. (Voir fig.

Blindzoomsteek
De blindzoomsteek wordt gebruikt voor de afwerking van uw werk, bij-
voorbeeld voor het onzichtbaar omzomen van een pantalon. Gebruik de
Blindzoomsteek voor allc nonnale stoffen en de stretch blindzoomsteek voor
aile stretchstoffen.
l. Zowel de onder- als de bovendraad moeten dezelfde kleur hebben als de
stof .
2. Vouw de stof om in de gewenste zoom zoals getoond in fig. A. Vouw de
rand van de stof vervolgens zeals getoond in fig. B. Laat 6 mm stof over
aan de rand.
3. Stel de patroonkeuzeknop ln op de blindzoom- of stretch blindzoom-
steek en stel de steeklengte in. Voorde model!en 60, 70 en 75 stelt u de
steekbreedteknop in tussen "3" en "5".
4. Naai de zoom zoals getoond in fig. C.
5. Bij bet uitvouwen van de stof ziet uw zoom eruit zeals in fig. D.
OPMERKING:
Voor stretchmateriaal ·]:ebruikt u de stretch blindzoomsteek.
