Menu Operation

Changes made from the menu are by default saved, but a handset parameter determines
if changes are to be saved or not. If this parameter is set to not save, then all changes will
be discarded when the handset is restarted.

Contacts

Enter the menu by pressing the "Menu" Soft key, or the Navigation key
the Contacts icon is marked.

Press "Select". The alternatives in Contacts are Local phonebook and Central
phonebook.

Find an Entry in the Local Phonebook

Mark the "Contacts" icon and press "Select"; Local phonebook is marked.

Press "Search"; Find: will appear.

Enter the first letter in the name or the whole name. Press "Search". The first name
corresponding to your search will appear.

Use

Note: The search function is not accessible if the Local phonebook is empty.

View an Entry in the Local Phonebook

Mark the "Contacts" icon and press "Select".

Mark "Local phonebook" and press "Select". The first entry is marked.

Press "Details" to view the entry; the name and number will appear.

the entries sorting order might change depending on the selected handset
language.

Add an Entry to the Local Phonebook

Mark the Contacts icon and press "Select".

Mark "Local phonebook" and press "Select".

Press "Add"; Name:_ and Number:_ will appear. The handset is in text input mode
and the name can now be added.
