Changing Jumper Settings
You can add shunts (see figure 8.9) to cover sets of pins on the jumper
blocks (see figure 8.8).
Caution: If you do not have any hardware conflicts, you do not need to
use this section.
To change jumper settings, use tweezers or needle-nosed pliers and gently
rock the jumper back and forth as you lift.
COM port block
Note: Do not grasp the shunts too firmly. If you grasp them too firmly,
you may crush the shunt or damage the modem.
