Adjusting stitch balance of buttonhole

Occasionally (especially on speciality fabrics) the
stitch length shows differences in forward and
reverse stitches of the buttonhole.
Stitch balance can be equalized by turning the
Buttonhole Stitch Adjuster. (fig A)
1. If the stitches of the right side of the buttonhole
(forward stitches) are too close together, turn the
adjuster clockwise using a screw driver or a coin.

2. If the stitches of the left side of the buttonhole
(reverse stitches) are too close together, turn
the adjuster counterclockwise. (fig C)

Instellen van de steekbalans van het
knoopsgat
Af en toe (vooral mat speciale stoffen) vertonen de
lengtesteken verschillen in de voorwaartse en
achterwaartse steken van het knoopsgat.
De steekbalans kan gelijk gemaakt worden door
aan de knoopsgat steek instellingsknop te draaien
(fig A)
1. Als de steken aan de rechterkant van het
knoopsgat (voorwaartse steken) te dicht op
elkaar zitten, draait u de afstellingsknop
rechtsom met een schroevendraaier of een munt.

2. Als de steken aan de linkerkant van het
knoopsgat (achterwaartse steken) te dicht op
elkaar zitten, draait u de afstellingsknop
linksom. (fig C)

Ajuster l'équilibre des points de la boutonnière
Parfois (surtout pour des tissus particuliers) la
longueur de point montre des différences entre les
points crées en marche avant et les points crées
en marche arrière pour réaliser la boutonnière.
L'équilibre des points de boutonnières s'obtient en
tournant le sélecteur de mise au point (fig. A)
1. Si les points du côté droit de la boutonnière
(point en avançant) sont trop rapprochés, tourner
le sélecteur de mise au point dans le sens des
aiguilles d'une montre en utilisant un tournevis
ou une pièce. (fig. B)
2. Si les points du côté gauche de la boutonnière
(points en reculant) sont trop rapprochés,
tourner le sélecteur de mise au point dans le
sens contraire des aiguilles d'une montre. (fig. C)

Su tessuti diversi, i punti sinistro e destro possono
risultare non bilanciati.
In tal caso regolare il bilanciamento dei punti
ruotando l'apposito controllo (fig. A) posto dietro la
macchina
1. Se i punti del lato destro dell'occhiello sono
troppo vicini, ruotare il controllo a sinistra come
mostrato in (fig. B)
2. Se i punti del lato sinistro dell'occhiello sono
troppo vicini, ruotare il controllo a destra come
mostrato in (fig. C)
