Optimize Radio Network for—Use this setting (for each radio interface) to select either
preconfigured settings for the access point radio or customized settings for the access point radio.
Throughput—Maximizes the data volume handled by the access point but might reduce its

Range—Maximizes the access point's range but might reduce throughput.

Aironet Extensions—Enable this setting (for each radio interface) if there are only Cisco Aironet
devices on your wireless LAN or the unit is configured in repeater mode.
You can restore the access point to its factory defaults by unplugging the power jack and
plugging it back in while holding down the Mode button for a few seconds, or until the Status
LED turns amber.
