Dealing With Password Loss
If you have lost the BootWare password, user password, or super password, refer to "Dealing With
Password Loss" in Chapter 6 "Maintaining Software."
Troubleshooting the Cooling System
Symptom
The temperature inside the device exceeds 45°C (113°F).
Solution
Follow these steps to troubleshoot the cooling system:
Step1 Check the fans for stopped ones.
Step2 Check the operating environment of the device for poor ventilation.
Step3 Use the display environment command to observe whether the internal temperature keeps rising, if
the following information appears on the configuration terminal upon internal temperature exceeding
60°C (140°F):

Troubleshooting Interface Cards/Modules, Cables and Connections
Symptom
After the mini card or MIM is installed and the UTM device is powered on, the LED on the interface card
panel indicates abnormal operation.
Solution
Check that:
The correct interface cable is selected and connected correctly and securely.
The interface has been correctly configured and is working normally (with the display command).
