Upgrading Software Through the Web Interface

You can download a software upgrade file from a TFTP server to a U200 series device through the Web
interface. For how to log in to a U200 series device through the Web interface, refer to Chapter 5
"Starting and Configuring the U200 Series Device."
Configuring parameters for software upgrade
Upon logging in to the Web interface, select System > Software Upgrade from the navigation tree on
the left to make software upgrade settings, as shown in Figure 6-13.

Configure the software upgrade settings as shown in Table 6-16.

Network requirements
A U200 UTM device working as the TFTP client is connected through interface GE 0/0 to the TFTP
server, as shown in Figure 6-14.
Specify the full name of the source file (including the path and extension) on the
TFTP server. The extension of the file can only be .bin or .app.
Specify the name of the destination file to be saved on the U200 series device.
The extension of the file must be the same as that of the source file.
Specify the file attribute to either of the following:
Main: Main boot application for next startup
Backup: Backup boot application for next startup
Select If a file with same name already exists, overwrite it without any
prompt to overwrite the file with the same name as the downloaded file, if any.
To enable the device to reboot automatically to have the downloaded file take
effect, select Reboot after the upgrading is finished.
