3. Locate the battery socket on the system board (see Figure Section 4-2).

4. Carefully lift the battery from the socket tabs and out of the socket.

With the positive (+) side facing up, press the new battery into the socket.

Replace the system unit cover.

Connect external peripherals and power cables.
