Select the country in which area you are from the drop-down list.
A channel is the radio frequency used by 802.11b/g wireless device. Channels
available depend on your geographical area. You may have a choice of channels
(for your region) and you should use a different channel from an adjacent AP to
reduce the interference. Interference and degrading performance occurs when
radio signal from diffirent APs overlap.
Select a channel from the drop-down list box.
Select the transmission rate of the wireless data.
You can select Auto, 1 M, 2 M, 5.5 M, 11 M, 6 M, 9 M, 12 M, 18 M, 24 M, 36
M, 48 M, or 54 M.
Select the transmission power of the radio signal from the drop-down list. It is
recommended to select the default value 100%.
Select the checkbox to enable virtual access point (VAP). You need to enable
VAP, if you want to configure the parameters in this page.
The service set identification (SSID) is a unique name to identify the router in
the wireless LAN
Select the authentication mode of the router from the drop-down list. You can
select Open System, Shared Key, or Auto.
In the open system, the wireless client can directly connect to the router.
In the encryption authentication, the wireless client connects to the router
through the shared key.
