Carefully read p. 43 (MAINTENANCE).
NOTE
Grease the rear brake cam pin
every 4000 km (2500 mi). If the vehicle is
used on dusty roads, this operation must be
carried out more frequently.
CAUTION
The greasing of the rear brake cam pin
can be difficult or complicated for an
unskilled operator.
If necessary, contact your

Lock the screw (4), by means of an
hexagon spanner, and loosen the nut (5).
/
N
Loosen the screw (6).
N
Remove the pin lever (7).
N
Withdraw the cam pin (8).
CAUTION
Moderately grease only the central part
of the pin.
Avoid dirting the cam or the areas
around the pin seat with grease.
N
Grease the central part of the pin by us-
ing grease for kinematic motions, see p.
80 (LUBRICANT CHART).
Upon reassembly:
CAUTION
Neither strike, nor force the cam pin (8)
with hammers or others tools, in order
not to damage the two O-rings.
N
Manually insert the cam pin (8), rotating
and pushing it slightly.
CAUTION
Make sure that the springs are correctly
coupled.
