Operation principle is the same as basic type. Refer Operation manual "SMART POSITIONER

Mounting

Mounting of IP8001 Smart Positioner is the same as basic type. Refer Operation manual "SMART
POSITIONER (No.:IP8S-OM00009)".

Piping

Piping of IP8001 Smart Positioner is the same as basic type. Refer Operation manual "SMART
POSITIONER (No.:IP8S-OM00009)".
<Perform initial adjustment in the following order along with this manual>
1. Select calibration
mode
2. Check the angle of
the feedback lever
3. Simple balance
current adjustment
4. Calibration
5. Calibration of
input current

Select the mode used for initial
adjustment.
Check the angle of the feedback
lever.
Adjust balance current simply.
Perform zero point/span adjustment
and PID constant settings suitable
for the connected actuator.
Perform calibration of the input
current as necessary. Normally, this
is not required.
