Communication Applications
Most applications are supported transparently by the TW100-BRV304. But sometimes it is not
clear which PC should receive an incoming connection. This problem could arise with the
Communication Applications listed on this screen.
If this problem arises, you can use this screen to set which PC should receive an incoming
connection, as described below.
Communication Applications
Select an Application
•
Manual Connect/Disconnect
You must manually establish and terminate the connection.
•
Keep alive (maintain connection)
The connection will never be disconnected by this device. If dis-
connected by your ISP, the connection will be re-established
immediately. (However, this does not ensure that your Internet
IP address will remain unchanged.)
This field has no effect unless the setting above is Automatic Con-
nect/Disconnect.
If Auto-disconnect is being used, enter the desired idle time-out
period (in minutes). After the connection to your ISP has been idle
for this time period, the connection will be terminated.
Figure 27: Internet Screen
This lists applications which may generate incoming connections,
where the destination PC (on your local LAN) is unknown.
