Capturing Images

Intervalometer

Your camera has an Intervalometer that
automatically captures a sequence of images at
specified intervals over a specified time period.
You might use the Intervalometer to capture a
flower bud opening or for unattended
surveillance.
The Intervalometer is disabled automatically after
the specified time has elapsed, even if the
specified number of images have not been
captured. For example, if you set the
Intervalometer for fifteen exposures at one
second intervals, the buffer would fill after a few
exposures, and the camera would not be able to
maintain the one second interval. It would stop
capturing images after fifteen seconds even
though fifteen images had not been captured.
"
While the Intervalometer is enabled, the
camera does not enter Battery Save state.
