How to Replace the Fuse

Fuses are located as shown in the tables
below. Each fuse protects the equipment
from reverse polarity of the ship’s mains
and equipment fault. If a fuse blows, find the
cause before replacing it. Use the correct
fuse. Using the wrong fuse will damage the
equipment and void the warranty.
Note: For monitor units MU-190/MU-190HD/MU-231/MU-270W, see the monitor’s op-
erator manual for fuse details.
For all AC-powered configurations
Note: This fuse is located on the front of the processor unit.

Checks and measures
Check the antenna unit for
corrosion and paint pealing.
Insufficient grease on the
antenna rotary my cause
cracks in the waterproofing
gasket (V-ring). To prevent
water leakage due to cracks
in the V-ring, use the option-
al lubrication kit (OP03-229)
to apply the grease to the
antenna rotary.

Remarks
If corrosion or paint pealing is
found, paint the affected area.
Do not paint the antenna (see
below), only paint the scanner.
Note: Painting the antenna may
result in reduced performance
and/or damage to the antenna.
Have a qualified technician apply
the grease oil to the antenna ro-
tary. If exposed to heavy wind,
rain, or waves, it is recommend-
ed to apply the grease during the
regular maintenance.
