Remote Operation from the Handset
You can operate your answering system from the handset.
Summary of remote operation
To select common memory;
To select mailbox memory;
Press (SCREEN/PLAYBACK).
1. Press (#) and the mailbox

number (1, 2, 3, or 4).
e The indicator lights.
2. Enter the mailbox password.
o If the SCREEN/PLAYBACK indicator flashes,
the answering system is off. To turn on, press (8).
To end the remote operation, press [SCREEN/PLAYBACK)].
° The messages are saved.
o |f you hear "Memory full" after playback, erase some or all of the
messages (p. 53).
o When an incoming message has been recorded, 4 short beeps sound
twice on the handset.
*Voice menu
After you select a memory (common or mailbox), the base unit waits 3
seconds for a remote command. If no command is given, then the unit starts
the following voice menu:
"Press 4 to playback new messages; Press 5 to play back all messages."
o Even if the voice menu has started, other command buttons can be
accepted.
