Remote Operation from a Touch Tone Phone
You can operate the answering system from any touch tone phone.
The synthesized voice menu will guide on you how to operate the unit
(p. 48).
Summary of remote operation
Call your unit from a touch tone phone.
To select common
memory;
To select mailbox memory;
Enter the remote code number
during the greeting message
playback.
1. Press (#) and the mailbox
number (1, 2, 3, or 4) during
the greeting message
playback.
2. Enter the mailbox password.
o If you have not programmed
a password, enter the
remote code number.

After 3 seconds, voice menu starts (p. 48)
Follow the menu or enter the direct remote commands (p. 50)

To end the remote operation, hang up.
o The messages are saved.
o Do not press "#" button for a few seconds. Some tong distance services
use "#" for other purposes and these services may take priority over the
remote operation.
e If more than one person uses this unit, we recommend you listen to all of
the messages in common memory. If you only listen to the new messages,
you may miss some messages already played by someone else.
