CHAPTER 8: Maintenance Schedule

8.10 UNIT DISASSEMBLY

To disassemble the unit for maintenance, do the following:
Disassembling the EXT Boiler for Maintenance
1. Switch OFF external electrical power and CLOSE the gas supply valve upstream from the
boiler, and ensure it is completely closed.
2. Unlatch and raise the top lid (Figure 8-4).
3. Remove screws from top of unit holding the rear and side panels in place (Figure 8-5).
Remove panels by tilting away from unit, then lifting up and out (Figure 8-6). Note, the front
and rear panels must be removed before the side panels can be removed.
