14.1 To unpack the outdoor unit

Keep the following in mind:
▪ At delivery, the unit MUST be checked for damage and completeness. Any
damage or missing parts MUST be reported immediately to the claims agent of
the carrier.
▪ Bring the packed unit as close as possible to its final installation position to
prevent damage during transport.
▪ Prepare in advance the path along which you want to bring the unit to its final
installation position.
▪ When handling the unit, take into account the following:
Fragile, handle the unit with care.
Keep the unit upright in order to avoid compressor damage.

NOTICE
For 8 HP model: Make sure that the screw removed for the packaging is reinstalled
in the front of the unit. This is important because the screw is longer than screws
used for the side and back of the unit, where it can damage heat exchanger fins or
pipes.
Note: This product is not designed for repacking. In case of repacking, contact your
dealer.
