1 Safety
Read these instructions and the
separately enclosed safety instructions for in-
dustrial fans carefully before installation and
first use. Follow the instructions. Installation
only by trained specialists, electrical connec-
tion only by qualified electricians.
CAUTION! Wear protective gloves to prevent
cuts caused by sharp-edged housing plates.

2 Scope of delivery

ERR duct fan, accessory bag in terminal box with
cable grommet, tension relief and 2 fixing screws,
these installation and operating instructions.

3 Intended use

ERR duct fans are used for air extraction or vent-
ilation in machine and workplace areas, factories,
storage rooms, laboratories, workshops, recre-
ation rooms, rooms without windows, etc. ERR
duct fans are designed for domestic and light
commercial use.
Operation of the ERR is only permissible:
• indoors
• installed directly between 2 ducts. Folded
spiral-seams ducts with a suitable nominal size
are permissible.
• permanently installed on the wall, ceiling or on
a bracket. For mounting, we recommend the
optional mounting foot FUR. The installation
location must have sufficient load-bearing capa-
city.
• with permanent electrical installation.
• when installed with elastic couplings (these pre-
vent transmission of vibrations to the duct sys-
tem).
• with free inlet or outlet with protection against
accidental contact in accordance with EN ISO
13857, for example with protective grille SGR.

model, with nominal sizes DN 100 to DN 315.
Operating capacitor in terminal box.
• ERR 10/1 S, ERR 16/1 S: Centrifugal duct fans,
powerful design with wider impeller, nominal
size DN 100 or DN 160.
• ERR 10/2 EC ... ERR 25/2 EC, ERR 31/1 EC:
Centrifugal duct fans with efficient EC motor,
nominal sizes DN 100 to DN 315.
