Plug the external hard drive to the
USB2 (HDD) USB interface or plug the
memory stick to the USB1 interface.
Notes:
• USB1 USB1 port of the TV supports a
current of 500 mA current according to
the USB standard. Devices such as ex-
ternal hard drive and etc. that consume
more power can only be connected to the
USB2 (HDD) USB interface of the televi-
sion.
• If you are using a power cord for the ex-
ternal hard drive that you have connected
to the USB2 (HDD) USB interface, then
the power cord of the external hard drive
shall also be unplugged when the TV is
turned off.
• You must not disconnect the USB Device
from the TV while a file on the USB
Device is being read by the TV.

10.4.1 Formatting the Data Medium

Important:
• Formatting external data medium causes
all data in the data medium to be per-
manently deleted.
1. In the Device Info Setting menu, use

eration or select No to cancel it, and

ð When the formatting is complete, the

10.4.2 Selecting Data Medium for
Record/Time shift
If more than one external data medium is
connected to the TV set, you can set differ-
ent data media for record/time shift or as-
sign both records to one data medium.
