About This Motherboard
The Supermicro X13DAI-T supports dual 5th/4th Generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable
Processors (in Socket E LGA 4677) with four Ultra Path Interconnects (UPIs), up to 64 CPU
cores, and a thermal design power (TDP) of up to 350 W. Built with the Intel C741 chipset,
the X13DAI-T supports up to 4 TB 3DS RDIMM/RDIMM DDR5 ECC memory with speeds of
up to 5600 MT/s in 16 DIMM slots (1DPC configuration). This motherboard features superior
I/O expandability and flexibility, including five PCIe 5.0 x16/CXL slots, one PCIe 5.0 x8/CXL
slot, two PCIe 5.0 x8 MCIO NVMe connectors (with support of four connections), ten SATA
3.0 connections (eight via one SlimSAS connector; two with support of SuperDOM devices),
two PCIe 5.0 NVMe M.2 slots, two USB 2.0 connections (via one header), four USB 3.0 ports,
two USB 3.0 connections (via one header), and one internal USB 3.1 Gen 2 connector. It
also offers the most advanced data protection capability that provides the Trusted Platform
Module (TPM) 2.0 support. The X13DAI-T is optimized for future PCIe specifications with
flexible I/O, networking, storage, and Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) (optional) supports. It
is ideal for use in general purpose servers with 3D Modeling and Rendering, 3D simulations,
editing 8K video, visualization, and High Performance Computing (HPC). Also, the X13DAI-T
is optimized for high-performance and high-end computing platforms that address the needs
of next generation workstation applications. Please note that this motherboard is intended to
be installed and serviced by professional technicians only. For processor/memory updates,
please refer to our website at https://www.supermicro.com/products/.
Note 1: Memory speed support depends on the processor.
Note 2: Be sure to use processors of the same SKU on a multi-processor motherboard.
Note 3: The 5th Gen. Intel Xeon Scalable processors support four UPIs with 20 GT/s
(max.). The 4th Gen. Intel Xeon Scalable processors support four UPIs with 16 GT/s
(max.).
