OPERATION
Firmware Upgrade
Option 3: Use a USB Flash Drive
Use the following steps to upgrade the firmware.
1. Download the latest firmware from
www.cyberpower.com.
2. Extract the file to the root directory of a USB flash drive
with FAT32 format. Please note that the two files below
should be available in order to complete the firmware
upgrade process:
• cpsmpdumadata_xxx.bin
• cpsmpdumafw_xxx.bin
3. Plug the USB drive into the PDU USB port and
press Enter button on the PDU LCD screen to enter
Main Menu. The USB option will be displayed.

4. Select USB and press Enter button to enter Firmware
Upgrade menu.

TROUBLESHOOTING

PDU outlets do not provide power

exceeds the units capability

5. Select Main and Ye s to start the upgrade process.

6. The PDU will reboot after the process is completed.
Note: You can check to see if the firmware upgrade is
successful by checking the "Firmware version" on the
[System->About] screen via web UI.

Reset Breaker, check the plug to insure
its connected correctly. If the problem
remains, contact technical support.
The load indicator shows red when
overload. Reduce the load on the
PDU until the overload is gone. If the
problem remains, contact technical
support.
