This section explains the details of an event/error code that appears when an event occurs. If there is a
corresponding corrective action described for the code, try it first. If the code is still displayed, contact Buffalo
technical support for assistance.

Errors and Status

If an error occurs, one of the following messages will appear on the LCD panel and the error LED will glow red. You
can also check the current status using NAS Navigator2.
Note: The "x" in the LCD message is the number of the drive or assigned drive letter involved in the process.
Description
Not connected to a network.
Connected at 10 Mbps full duplex.
Connected at 100 Mbps full duplex.
Connected at 1000 Mbps.
Connected at 2.5 Gbps.
Connected at 5 Gbps.
Connected at 10 Gbps.
Displays the used space for drive C and D on
the TeraStation.
Displays the OS installed on the TeraStation.
Displays the hostname and the IP address of
LAN port 1.
Note: This example is using a WS5420DN6
unit. The "x" in the hostname is the last three
digits of the MAC address.
Displays the date and time set in the
TeraStation.
Displays the IP addresses of LAN ports 2 and
3.
