After the recovery process is completed, refer to the next section to revert to the previous volume state.
By recovering the TeraStation, the display language will also revert to English, as shipping default. If you want to
change it to different language, refer to the
display language first.

Reverting the TeraStation to the Factory Default State

After the recovery process is completed, the TeraStation will be set to the state below when running under default
settings.
• Drive 1
100 MB (EFI System partition)
100 GB (Basic Disk/Simple)
The remaining space is an unallocated area.
• Drives 2–4
The data on the drives cannot be viewed.
Follow the procedure below to retrieve the factory default state of the TeraStation.

Connect Windows Storage Server via remote desktop by referring to the
section in chapter 1.
