Model DO42708PP is additionally equipped with a glass lid, which is mainly intended for storing
the remaining food in the bowl, slow cooking (slow-cook) and preventing splatter during
frying/sauteing.
!!! Never use the pressure program with only the glass cover !!!!
Pre-set programs with pressure can be used only with a lid with a pressure valve.
BEFORE FIRST USE
 Remove all packing materials and carefully clean the appliance, the pot, the sealing ring, etc
before the first use. (See "Cleaning and maintenance").
 As received, your pressure cooker will be fully assembled. Before removing the cover, you
will need to unlock the green locking latch according to the instruction.
 Place the unit preferably on a surface that is easy to clean. The surface should also be heat-
resistant. Do not place the appliance on an untreated wooden surface.
 Before use, disassemble the cooker parts and clean them as recommended .
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Be sure the bottom of the removable cooking pot and the heating plate within the
cooker body (Fig. H) are free of debris before placing the cooking pot in the cooker
body.
CAUTION! To prevent electrical shock, never use the unit without the removable
cooking pot. Also, be sure the outside of the cooking pot is completely dry before
placing it into the cooker body.
