The Matrox Breakout Box module works with a Matrox camera, such as Matrox
Iris GT or Matrox GatorEye.
Matrox Iris GT
Matrox Iris GT is a family of smart cameras that feature an Intel-architecture
processor and either Microsoft Windows CE or XPe operating system. Matrox
Iris GT uses an interline transfer, progressive scan, CCD image sensor with square
pixels. The sensor provides an externally triggered electronic shutter.
The Matrox Iris GT camera is fully integrated in an IP67 enclosure, eliminating
the need to separately source a sealed camera housing, while still providing easy
access to the lens.
Matrox GatorEye
Matrox GatorEye is a family of feature-rich GigE Vision industrial cameras. Your
Matrox GatorEye offers the following camera-specific features:
• Laser range control. Supports laser line extraction on-board. It can establish depth
(an uncorrected depth map) and surface information for an object in a scene, from
multiple 2D images of laser lines taken from a laser-line profile setup (that is, a
laser-based 3D reconstruction setup).
