26 Chapter 2: Connecting Matrox Breakout Box
Connecting to an
inductive load device
- When connecting to an inductive load device, use an external diode between
the auxiliary output signal and your third-party device. The diode protects your
Matrox Breakout Box module from sudden voltage spikes, which occur when
disconnecting from the inductive load device.
