Matrox Breakout Box summary

Your Matrox Breakout Box has the following features:
• Compatible with Matrox cameras. Your Matrox Breakout Box is compatible with
both Matrox Iris GT smart cameras and Matrox GatorEye cameras.
• Send and receive opto-isolated signals. Your Matrox Breakout Box can
opto-isolate the Matrox camera and itself from connected third-party devices
using G4 Opto 22 I/O modules.
• Send and receive RS-232 signals. Connects to your development computer to
allow you to receive and transmit RS-232 signals to/from your Matrox camera.
• Two possible ways to power your Matrox camera. The power supply has two
connections for a 24 V (1 A) power supply (either as an external DC input with
its own grounding through the shielding, or as an open-wire power with its
grounding through a second wire-terminal).
• Simple wire-terminals for third-party connections. Your Matrox Breakout Box
uses a simple wire-terminal for easy connections with third-party devices.
• A power and digital I/O cable. Your Matrox Breakout Box uses a power and digital
I/O cable to connect to your Matrox camera, making the initial connection
hassle-free.
