The following is a functional diagram of your Matrox Breakout Box module:

Your Matrox Breakout Box module has the following connectors:
• Direct input connector. The direct input connector receives trigger-generating
signals and auxiliary input signals from third-party input-generating devices. The
direct input connector can receive signals between 15 and 24 V. When dealing
with voltages outside that range, use the Opto 22-isolated input connectors
instead.
• Direct output connector. The direct output connector sends controlled-current
output and auxiliary output signals to third party devices. The direct output
connector uses open collector output signals that support from 0 to 24 V. When
dealing with voltages outside that range, use the Opto 22-isolated output
connectors instead.
• Matrox Breakout Box power source connector. The Matrox Breakout Box power
source connector is used to power your Matrox Breakout Box. The Matrox
Breakout Box power source connector includes both a terminal block connector
and a DC power socket.
