SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Precautions
Carefully observe the following precautions.
N WARNING
• Never allow children, persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge or people unfamiliar with this owner's manual to use the lawnmower. Local regulations
may restrict the age of the operator.
• Before using the robotic lawnmower or entering the work area, persons using a pacemaker or other
medical device should consult a doctor.
• Do not play with or near the lawnmower when it is in operation.
- Inadvertent contact with the mowing blade may cause injury.
• Never use the lawnmower in the immediate vicinity of people, especially children or animals.
(Make sure that there are no children or small animals (e.g. hedgehogs) in the work area while using the
work timer program.)
N CAUTION
• Before operating the lawnmower, read and understand the Owner's Manual to become familiar with the
operation of the lawnmower, and learn how to stop immediately.
• The lawnmower's STOP button (red) on the top turns off all its functions. The control panel cover opens,
when the STOP button is pressed, and the STOP button remains pressed until the cover is closed again.
• Make sure to keep your hands, feet and any other body parts away from the
rotating blades.
• Do not touch sharp components such as the blades or blade disc other than
when performing maintenance. If you do, you may be injured.
• Always press the manual STOP button first before you physically interact with
the lawnmower such as lifting, turning sideway or upside down. If you do not, you
may come in contact with the blades and become injured.
• If an error message is displayed, stop the lawnmower immediately and contact
the store where you purchased the lawnmower or a designated service shop.
• Keep in mind that the operator or user is responsible for accidents or hazards occurring to other people
or their property.
• Wear long pants and sturdy shoes when nearby or inside the work area while the lawnmower is
operating.
• Do not ride on the lawnmower and the docking station, push the lawnmower, or
use it for anything other than its intended purpose. An accident may occur or the
lawnmower may be damaged.
• Carry out your mowing operation only within the boundary wire area.
• If there is a risk of the lawnmower damaged by contacting a sprinkler, move the
sprinkler while the lawnmower is operating, or lay boundary wire around the
sprinkler to remove it from the work area.
• Do not use automatic lawn watering systems while the lawnmower is operating,
because the watering equipment may become damaged and the likelihood
of water penetrating into the lawnmower is greatly increased. Adjust the work
timer of the lawnmower so the watering systems and the lawnmower do not
operate at the same time.
• Although it is possible to mow the lawn even in the rain, working with wet
grass may reduce work performance and efficiency.
• If there is a risk of adverse weather such as lightning or a storm, stop
operation and disconnect the power cord.
